Lagos, Portugal, is a canvas of creativity ๐ŸŽจ, where the streets are alive with vibrant murals and intricate stencils. Thanks to initiatives like LAC's ARTURb, artists from around the globe have transformed the city into an open-air gallery ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ. From the monochrome animals by Roa to the pastel shades of Aryz's 'Tempus Fugit', each piece tells a story. So, grab your camera ๐Ÿ“ธ and explore the art-filled avenues of Lagos. Very good! TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is like a meticulous courier ๐Ÿ“ฌ, ensuring that all your data packets arrive accurately and in order, perfect for tasks where details matter, like sending emails. On the other hand, UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is like a speedy postman ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ, delivering messages quickly without waiting for a response, ideal for streaming videos where speed trumps precision. While TCP prioritizes reliability, UDP offers speed, making them suitable for different types of network communications.

๐Ÿ’ก If you use hashtags like #Madrid it's probably easier for them to find you.

. ๐Ÿ‘ Awesome! Securely archive all your #Nostr events to the complimentary space on your Google drive, which is usually idle! ๐Ÿš€ It's a quick setup, only taking minutes. ๐Ÿ’พ

It's not that strange and pretty common. Around 5% to 10% of men experience this and is called retrograde ejaculation and why this happens might have several reasons. Are you on medication? That could be a possible reason. If not, and it happens often or all the time, visit a doctor and they'll usually make an ultrasound and run some tests. No need to panic but get it checked if it persists. For more information, check https://www.healthymale.org.au/news/dry-orgasms

Not really, otherwise you could be checking in with someone else their ID because they are unable to verify because as a guest of Sonder you will not have to visit reception.

Many countries have laws requiring foreign visitors to register with the local police. By taking your passports the hotels are doing this for you (and it's not their decision - it's the law - they have no choice). If the hotel didn't do this for you, you would have to find a local police station and register yourself.

It is very common to have to ID yourself at reception when checking into a hotel and don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel that didn't require me to show an ID at some point during my stay.

I stayed with Sonder in South Beach, Miami on several occasions. Their concept is that you don't need to check-in, you just use their app on your phone to open the main door to the hotel lobby and use your phone or pin to open the door to your room, there's is someone at reception but there is no need to visit them during your stay.

I'm pretty sure this is the reason they require you to ID before you arrive. If this is not for you, you can always decide to stay elsewhere but for me Sonder is definitely the better way to travel.

My 2cts.

๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿคฎ Looks like the tourist season has started again in #Portugal ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น

On a side note: the non writable UID error usually happens with cards that stick to the official standard. Writable UID tags can be purchased for cheap on AliExpress from unscrupulous sellers. They are often used to clone the 125khz tags used for entry systems for offices, garages, etc.

Yes, they are popular at the office ๐Ÿข here at GENERAL BYTES and you can store several cards into them. It's not a wonder tool or anything like it, more like a modern version of a Swiss army knife.

The price should be lower in my opinion as it doesn't do any rocket science and is less powerful than an entry level android so it should be priced about 50% cheaper but if you don't mind that, grab one and start hacking for fun and profit. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tip: get one of those silicon sleeves from AliExpress to protect your flipper as it doesn't like getting dropped to often. You can get one here: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EzbnBF9

Yes they can be reused, in fact that is exactly what your flipper did when you cloned your working card onto the 'defective' one. I often use them to program my guest Wi-Fi credentials on a card and leave one in my guest bedroom for guests to scan and connect to my Wi-Fi.

The memory available on these cards is usually limited to might not fit a complete wallet seed onto them but a bolt wallet should be possible. To find out the exact chip in the card (usually NXP NTAG 213, NTAG 216, or clone) use this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nxp.nfc.tagwriter

You might have been able to use your phone and the NXP Tagwriter app (android) to do the same.

BTW: The IHG Hotel I stayed in last week had similar cards made from wood instead of plastic. They look super nice but are a bit more fragile than the plastic versions.

Installed the app today (from Portugal ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น) and here are my first impressions and a bit of feedback:

โ˜‘ Installation on android was smooth, no more 'not available in your country' messages. (finally!)

โ˜‘ Enrollment via the Persona KYC system was fast, just needed an ID and proof of address (utility bill) and I was verified in minutes. Possibly because they already had my data from another service that uses the same system. ๐Ÿ›‚

โ˜‘ Sent some lightning payments to my Strike wallet... Easy peasy! Strike will be my goto wallet for LN from now on. (sorry breez, Alby, and Wallet of Satoshi)โšก

โ˜‘ Adding bank accounts is super easy to do. I've transferred some fiat to my account but expect it to arrive tomorrow or the day after. ๐Ÿ˜

โ˜‘ No shitcoin distractions in the app make it refreshing and easy to use, unlike the ๐Ÿ’ฉ casino ๐ŸŽฐ vibe you get at most exchanges. Finally an app I can recommend to new bitcoin users without fear that they will buy the 'new coin' or 'fast mover' bs exchanges love to push.

โ˜‘ Updated my lightning adress on Nostr to martijnw@strike.me so everyone can see how cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž I am now. ๐Ÿ˜‚

โ˜‘ Suggestion for improvement. It would be nice to specify LN payments in sats instead of just BTC (by tapping on it maybe?) as most LN transactions are in sats, not BTC.

โ˜‘ Not too excited about the current withdrawal levels that max out at 25k Euro per few days. We're talking Lambos and private jet flights here so some users will really need at least 100x that 25k limit. (asking for a friend) An option to verify to a higher tier like most exchanges have is something I would really like to see in the app.

Overal the Strike Europe ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ app gave me a much better than expected user experience and wanted to congratulate to the dev team on a job well done! ๐Ÿ‘ Obrigado Jack!
