How many coins do you think this dude managed to scoop with this stunt? Smart πŸ˜‚

Maybe. But there is that socialist guy who works at Swan (Ben something?) So it's possible I suppose.

Admission: I've been watching shitcoin podcasts for months and I still haven't heard any convincing investment or use cases.

I saw a new Twitter thing so now you can too

I guess now that AI is such a threat to humanity we're gonna hold off going to electric smart cars and instead stick to Good old fashioned low tech petrol/gas cars? 😝

If 8 billion people spent 100 sats per day streaming sats for what they use online, that would be 2,920,000 bitcoin per year.

Lol.

Is it censorship to remove the ability to put them on Bitcoin? I'm guessing it's both yes and no based on the definition of censorship. But ultimately it's just a design choice and the line has to be somewhere.

What's the argument against the patch?

I agree that the size isn't an issue. I've just bought a 2tb SSD for $100 and that should last a while.

My problem is with the idea that we can't do anything or would be hypocritical to do something.

Ultimately I think jpegs will have to be mostly priced out anyway.

They should be priced out in the medium term, so maybe we don't need to do anything.

Claiming that it's somehow hypocritical or censorship to not want them on Bitcoin is my problem.

Like I said, why not 5 hour home movies too? It's just not the vision that the majority of node runners have for Bitcoin, imo.

Some of us want to censor the jpeg lovers access to Bitcoin jpegs.

They could call the chain "Bitcoin smash"? 😝

Because it's so retarded that people say not wanting jpegs on Bitcoin is censorship. Deserves caps imo.

WHY ARE WE CENSORING THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO UPLOAD A 5 HOUR HOME VIDEO TO THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN? BITCOIN HAS FAILED AND WE ARE ALL HYPOCRITES UNLESS WE ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN.

Anything doesn't go. I think this crap will be priced out by high fees so it doesn't matter in the long run, but we would still be right to say this isn't what we want and to remove the ability.

Are we currently censoring the people who might want to upload a 5 hour home video? Silly argument.

This. People are saying they won't sell, but I think they will for this reason.

Take me on a date plz

1am snack time

A pick me up and consolation for being a retarded node runner.
