True, it is a trivial answer. Envy would come at the second place, like when things don’t workout how I want them to, I start being envious of others that I think are better off than me.
Not my brightest moments. But that’s when I know I must go confess.

I would have to say pride. Other than just being the root of all other sin, I often think too highly of myself and not always rightfully.
On the question of absolute, my comment was for nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w
On the question of necessary, see my other note.

Murder is never good. Is that open for interpretation?
Good and Evil is not open for interpretation. What is open for interpretation is our perception of them, because we’re not without fault.
However that doesn’t mean that Absolute Good (and Absolute Evil as merely a perversion) don’t exist.
All of our intentions and actions are contrasted against Absolute Good, there further we are from that the more evil we are. And the interpretations you spoke of are a constant search for our position with respect to this Absolute Good, which is God.

Your opinions.
Evil is evil. Who decides what evil is necessary and how?
If you start deciding to allow “necessary evil”, how do you draw the line?
Say you draw a line. That line is further into evil and is then perceived as the “new” line between good and evil.
Then someone else commits a “necessary evil” which is further along evil and the first “necessary evil” and so on and so forth.
It is a slippery slope. Let us try to be as good we can be rather than dabbling with concepts like “necessary evil”.
Yes there is absolute evil. I know that because there is absolute good and that is God. Anything that goes in opposition to God is therefore evil.
About the Gen Z.
It could go either of 2 ways, and there’s no third.
Either he is a man with impeccable virility and strength of character, or he’s a faggot in every possible sense of the word.
The former type is inherently rarer. But the sponsored sissification of men has forced those of higher calibre into higher levels of excellence.
That is my take.
Sadly, many priests believe Jesus was speaking “metaphorically” or that homosexuality isn’t that sinful, and God would be kinda okay with it.
Bon appétit!!
Recipe please?
Yes, their souls could still be saved. But if you just “accept them” without any effort to reform them, then they won’t be saved. It might be that you’ve contributed to their perdition.
To give the benefit of doubt: are these people truly repenting? Are they going to “go and sin no more”?
I don’t think that’s the case.

Catholic Nostr: what is happening?

“POR QUE SON LA MIERDA”
Gets me every time 😂
True, the nobility became noble for a reason. They happened to understand what others didn’t. They had low time preference, they lived below their means and worked generationally.
That is precisely it. We must act. Emotions will not bear fruits, but acts will.
Praying is one of the exercises the priest told us to do to “work out” our faith to strengthen it. For those who struggle, an inwards reflection is due, to help figure out why they have been away from God, to figure out what separates them the Lord.
Once that has been done, a confession is in order, and then repentance.
