Just a pleb on a never ending journey of education and discovery. I love to tinker and try new things. The ocean waves are my second home, this tragically means I keep losing my sats in boating accidents... 🌊🛥🤷🏻‍♂️ GNULinux/FOSS/FOSH enthusiast, BTC maxi, XMR curious, Nostr Maxi.

But if it's to recommend only one fictional book, for me it's Dune

I couldn't possibly recommend one book, there is too many great ones... but if you really pinned me to strictly one, then it would have to be the first one we know of, The Bible 😅

Everytime I see the #Bitcoin price jump, 🚀 I get excited, but then I realise that in BTC terms my salary just dropped in value 😮‍💨😅

Wen BTC standard!? 😭

I'd be very interested if there is something out there! Haven't come across it yet though 😬

Bless the Maker and His water.

Bless the coming and going of Him.

May His passage cleanse the world.

May He keep the world for His people.

Bitcoin eats everything 😆

You missed a trick, it should've been an Orange-Pilsner 😄

I don't personally collect any more, but my kid had a phase a while back and we're still playing from time to time, it was nostalgic and good fun, though there were so many new pokemon I have never heard of 😂

I used to collect when I was a kid, I had quite a stacked collection, well preserved in a binder with protective sleaves. I had plans to hold onto them a long time as I already then recognised the collectable value of them, some cards being very early editions and rare iterations. In my late teans I moved away from home and left a bunch of stuff as storage in my parents attic. Some time later I went looking for the cards, they were gone... my parents had sold them on ebay for like 50 bucks when they cleared out a bunch of our old kids stuff 😭 I was so mad as I knew the value was at least 4 times that at the time and today probably way way more but of course I learned a valuable lesson in humility and communication that day 😆

Personally, I like privacy respecting services which you can use without having to log in or connect... as mempool.space is presented. I don't think everything needs to be nostr-fied.

If you find some reason that nostr creates a value add to your service then I guess there is good reason but otherwise no need to add just for the sake of it (may be an unpopular opinion).
