Just a pleb on a never ending journey of education and discovery. I love to tinker and try new things. The ocean waves are my second home, this tragically means I keep losing my sats in boating accidents... 🌊🛥🤷🏻‍♂️ GNULinux/FOSS/FOSH enthusiast, BTC maxi, XMR curious, Nostr Maxi.

Storage is the easier upgrade, go for the processor, it will make the biggest impact from day one.

There will always be abuse, and right now a staggering amount of it is being committed by governments on a scale humanity has never before seen. Historically speaking at least, governments turn countries into graveyards, not individuals.

An important dynamic to consider is that quality of life always mirrors quality of consciousness. Living under Fiat and government tyranny for so long, and perhaps for the majority of humanity's existence, one should consider the effect that has on the quality of the consciousness of the human race.

At this moment, you have a bunch of inattentive, entitled, poisoned, propagandized adult children running around and in charge. This is an artificial state that could not exist without the government enabling it.

It takes time, and risk, but freedom will ultimately take us to a place where morality is enforced by the laws of nature from the bottom up. Prosperity will allow private charity and good Samaritan protectors to once again claim dominance.

The world would be completely transformed from what you see today, so it is no wonder that it is somewhat difficult to imagine. Just like for many socialists it is so difficult to imagine the mass graves towards which they are heedlessly hurtling.

It's also worth considering the so-called horrors of the Industrial Revolution. Where did the poverty come from that forced so many workers to accept such miserable conditions? I'm not sure that it came from the free market. What about pollution? I'm not sure that government regulations didn't ironically enable monopolies to be protected from the wrath of the customers and those living nearby, much like they do today.

There will always be turbulent times of transition, but compared to a perfect world where consciousness has no reason to develop in the first place because there are no problems to solve, it is not such a dystopia.

Thank you for writing this! Your point is beautifully elocuted. I really hope and pray to see this free world become manifest! I certainly see the truth in what you're saying.

I'm not convinced it will happen in my life time, but if i can help to provide a spark which may help it manifest some generations from now, I will be content 🤗

Good point! 😂 must be a hollywood bunker... we all know they don't shit right? 😅

Bro, this bunker is missing an en suit master bedroom, sauna and armory! 🤣

The beauty in life is due to ephemerality, as with a sand mandala, I have no need for my words to be retained indefinitely. If they touch but a few souls... I am content.

This may seem counter to my comment on posterity, but for me, posterity is in the hearts and minds of those who might stumble accross my notes 🤗

Yes 😁 somehow I feel as though I am contributing to greater human conciousness.

Your words heavily resonate with me, God's greatest gift to us is free will and we scorn this by abdicating our will to the state. A gross abomination of God's gift.

I suppose a staggered and gradual approach is the only way... still... I am not convinced that most of humanity has the integrity to operate sincerely within a free market, despite my resolve that it is the theoretical ideal 😬 I feel there is too much evidence to prove the abuse of such a system, yet I long to be proven wrong.

Ooooohhhh right! That's cool, I hadn't realised you could buy such a generic gift card! And it's kyc-free?

Something incredible which I've realised about the nostr... I don't care so much about engagement.

Don't get me wrong... it's supre nice if I say something which sparks interaction... but at the same time, I feel good just posting thoughts here for posterity regardless of whether they recieve engagement or not 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyone else feel the same?

So in the given example... who pays the enforcement company? The one who was stolen from, or the "perpitrator?" I guess the only logical answer is that, if found guilty, the perpetrator pays, if found innocent the accuser pays? 🤔 I guess that's obvious right?

Agorism appeals to me on some deep core level, but I have an aweful lot of questions which I fear would simply be answered by "the market decides"... when I look at history I do not see compelling evidence that free markets act responsibly. Post industrial revolution, United Kingdom was a very free market and the results where horrendous on many levels...

What do you think about the incoming Strike service which allows for bill payments from btc? I wonder if it will allow a similar service in reverse 🤔 do you think it's a game changer or just the natural progression for them towards a kyc bitcoin bank? If the latter, do you think this is a positive or negative trend. I know in the early days Adam Back said that bitcoin banks will be somewhat inevitable, if my memory serves me right.

I'm undecided about this, in principle I am totally against KYC and I wish for the ideal world. But the realist in me thinks there is some inevitability to this KYC'd custodial model when you look out at the world... 🤷🏻‍♂️

#GM Beautiful plebs 🌞🫂

Question: how do the most hardcore BTC maxi's living on a bitcoin standard get around easily receiving fiat or monthly paychecks and paying bills without a Bank account?
