Not the number of conversations or tweets, but the sheer screeching noise of ads, trigger clips and injected content irrelevant to me. 🤮 It’s beyond me how people use that platform everyday 🤯. Today, I found myself in the unfortunate situation of having to pay something in USDT, which I’ve never done before because, you know, #bitcoin only. But alas, the counterparty wants tether or fiat.

The experience so far:

- Acquiring tether on an exchange. No big deal. 📈 But I need to get it into a wallet.

- Google USDT mobile wallet. Virtually all sites I visit offer me either a) a shady 💩 coin wallet (I’m not downloading that) or b) an official 💩 coin exchange backed wallet (I‘m not downloading that and then go through KYC either, thank you).

- Contemplating downloading Casa Wallet, cause that’s one of the few brands I recognize in a sea of shitcoinery ⛵️

- Go to official tether site. No app download link, but I can register an account. Maybe it’s a web wallet? 🤔

Turns out it’s for a trading account and you need to trade >$100k or you can’t register. Yeah nah, thanks. 😂

- Give up and contemplate for a moment if it’s a layer 8 issue and I’m cognitively challenged, or whether I‘m just spoiled by the #bitcoin ecosystem where shit just works™️

- Decide it’s probably both and pay in Fiat 🤦
