Unfortunately, many liberals I know do not care about facts when it pertains to the folks they support. For example, look how quick they are to point to Trump's felonies but refuse to discuss Biden's take from China via the shell companies and family.
I've surveyed a handful of my Dem friends and usually everything always breaks down to "don't care because Trump is a nasty person." While I don't disagree with that, it just goes to show you that some do not care about facts or substance.
Get bottle of one of the no chew sprays, spray something you don't care about and then give it to them in the open. We did this with our cats and cables and they all stopped after a few days.
