If you go for wired: ATH-M50x. The second undestructible headset I have with the Plantronics Bluetooth (see my other note). I just regret that I got the M50 (without x) which is with a fixed cabled. But mine is more than 10 years and still perfect beside the fake leather that I pelled off on the top. I did DJ with it for some years, then using it mostly for gaming or anything on the PC. I would buy it again if I need to.

I always wanted a MX2 and then MX3 and then MX4 but 10 years ago, just before the Sony MX2 released, I bought the Plantronics Back Beat Pro and this beast never want to die, still using it daily.

Do you have money? Yes but it's all in Bitcoin.

I'm pretty sure it's not working like that. So basically you want the governement to steal (more) from their citizens to reinforce the treasury of the country?

Funny how the WEF made a 180 degrees turn from trashing Bitcoin to promoting it's green benefits.

By the way I receive some of this chocolate and it was very good!

Not from US but also in my country, Switzerland, land of the money, less than 20 years ago you would need to beg to pay by card for less than 15 or 20 bucks and in many cases pay an extra fee.

Now you can still pay cash in 99% of shops but it's often like you bothering them to pay cash. One of the largest supermarket have replace most cashier by self-checkout machine that take no cash and you might be refused to pay cash for larger than a couple hundred.

Paying cash in any non-independant shops will for sure never grant you any discount and you will miss out on up to 1% cashback from credit cards + another 1% or more if you refuse to give your data by using a fidelity card (that's another story).

Also some parking meters, state owned, are not taking coins anymore, only cards or special payment app where you must register your licence plate and share your position to use it.

Also some music and culture festival are getting cashless, but so far always with the option to convert cash into a kind of gift card, without fees (yet).

The problem is that Bitcoin is not really solving it, at least not until we are in complete circular economy. And even so, merchants will still need to pay a third party to manage their PoS, Lightning liquidity and on-chain settlment. And most users will not pay fees and take the responsability to have a self-custodial Bitcoin wallet. There will still be fees here and there for both customers and merchants. Only a small fraction will manage it themself and save on fees, but at least the fact that it's possible if you want to, is a huge positive argument for Bitcoin.

In the meantime we should try to pay in cash everytime Bitcoin is not accepted, to at least keep the chances to have the cash option for longer time.

Switzerland. It's a short flight away but I really don't have the budget neither the time to go at these dates.

I will attend the Swiss event "Le Paradigme Bitcoin" end of June, it's smaller but I can go there as day trip and price for conferences is much more reasonnable, like 160ksats.

So sad I cannot be there 🄲

I wish I could be there as well, looks awesome!

You can use the local IP of the machine running Bitcoin core + Electrum (Electrs), which we call a Bircoin node. It works when you are at home. If you need acces outside your home you can VPN to your home using Wireguard, Tailscale or OpenVPN.

With Tailscale you can even tunnel only to your Bitcoin node machine without access to the rest of your network, depending on what you are looking for and which security level you accept.

One more click to save, I need to reorganize my time for all this extra wasted.

-2% ? I don't know why people talk about it in the first place.

I use this calculator/converter app for years, it's old and doesn't have update for a long time but still works perfectly. You can save any currency, incƩuding BTC, ETH and other shitcoins and quickly convert from any of them to any other by clicking source then destination currency.

You can also convert any units, lenght, weight, energy, power... and of course it's a basic calculator that is working pretty well, you click on previous result to reuse a number.

Probably the most used app on my phone, ... before phone app šŸ˜†
