I know it's not Umbrel fault, I was trolling a bit, but I never ubderstood this automatic force close, it's the node code that trigger it, that choose to broadcast the transaction to force close a channel, maybe both peer would not pay for the force close to get back 1000 sats on chain, there should be a way to make a UI tjat allow to review the force close request and approve or delay them somehow if both nodes are online and in agreement.

If someone can point me to an explanation why this is happening and why we cannot control it, I would love to learn more about it.

I don't say that nobody suffer from heat, but I just say the way it's displayed make it like it's new and it's not normal. Every summer the are heat waves for a few days or weeks, every summer people manage to deal with it by using technology (in Dubaï and many other countries, they are in the desert with almost always 30-40 degree, they are not in way of exctinct), or by moving to a more favorable place (mountain, sea side, higher latitude..) until it get's better.

People should stop complaining in hope that someone else find a solution for them, whatever government and individuals will do, you will never avoid those heat waves to happen.
