It’s like mindlessly relying on GPS to get you everywhere, and never taking the time to learn the layout of the area, landmarks, and more efficient routes to get you around traffic jams. Then when GPS goes down, you’re lost.

I’ve got Knots and Datum gateway running and configured on my Start9, pointing at a fresh wallet that has never seen any KYC activity.
I’ll be able to run this little 18W unit off the inverter in my solar cart and turn sunlight into hash power.
Hopefully this will give me the basis for doing bigger and better things. At the very least, I’ll be in that 3.125 BTC lottery every 10 minutes.
I need to learn about wood gasifiers and using them to fuel generators. I have access to a nearly unlimited supply of wood chips in a fenced compound. It’d be cool to stuff a bunch of J Pros into a half seacan with the generator on one side and the racks and pdu’s and ventilation system on the other side, separated by a wall, with a separate man door into each side. The site is line of sight with a dish internet provider. It’d be a fun project.
