Interesting perspective
Had a long debate with brothers about government and anarchism. Hard to believe that people I grew up with could be such statists. My oldest brother actually told me sincerely that one reason "God instituited 'States'" was to correct cosmic injustices (the natural state of man, i.e., people being born in different situation, sometimes disabled, etc). I was like dude WHAAAAAT?. And my other brother was trying to contend that really Amazon is a "State" because they have rules and tell employees what to do, and then I had to define a State to clarify. Of course the roads came up but I was like no man this is a meme, forget the roads, let's talk principles. I told them that believing we should be free and not forced doesn't mean I have to solve the whole world's problems. In the end, they believe that being 40-70% free is still "free". Being in some ways a slave is the same as not being a slave. Mind boggling.

I wanna say yes, but the whole point is for a trustless money. We don't have to believe in each other because we understand the economics and it's in our best interest to participate and support the network. There are probably some bitcoiners I would hate in person, but I don't have to like them for Bitcoin to exist or work. #bitcoin #nostr
