So true. I had been living a minimalist life which allowed me to save enough to buy a small farmstead. Now I feel like I have too much stuff, add children and I’m swimming in stuff.

I have to constantly remind people of this and they usually shrug it off like I’m making stuff up.

I didn’t realize the CC had that function. If you have your backup on site, I think it’d be simpler to wipe the CC, generate a new seed, test, then transfer funds.

Not sure what you mean by ephemeral seed. But always transfer a small amount first, wipe the device then restore to make sure your new seed phrase is correct then transfer the rest of the funds.

Also this is why I like to have a few of the same device, makes it simpler to migrate funds or upgrade one device.

No, I don’t think so. Even though Nostr was created by fiatjaf its primarily been a community development project from very early on and there isn’t a benefit from being “early”. I’m not convinced of my explanation, but something is different with Bitcoin not sure why though. Good question.
