That's how it works when there's freedom of association. If you want to share child porn, you're going to have a bad time
Because it's so damn easy to run a relay. I run 1 on my phone and 2 at home.
Content is not hosted there, nor indexes of events. Those websites are just nostr clients, anyone can host them, content is still there.
Look at dtan.xyz and zap.stream
It's easier to rebroadcast to different relays than it is to move content to another website.
People care about censorship when they want to access copyrighted/DRMed/geoblocked content.
Piracy with thrive on nostr.
So I need to change my nostr.json to support that?
How is NIP05 related to nip46?
At least read "Anatomy of the State". It's very very short and totally worth it.
How often do you use NIP05 addresses as identifiers (e.g. to go to a profile page, to search, to mention, to DM)?
I have a suspicion it's not used much if anything. Do you know any NIP05 by heart except your own?
Will any IP endpoints change?
I'm happy
This is the same argument used by systemd haters. Fact is, systemd is a great piece of software and a pillar of the FOSS ecosystem.
What is exactly wrong with it? Won't play? Buffering? Breaks? Huge delay? Sound is off? All of the above?
I won't share my number of active npubs, but let's just say I might have Multiple Personality Syndrome.
It's way worse when they go out of their way to convice you that their custodial solution is actually self-custodial 🤡
