Thanks for letting me know. My feat seem to either be cold, or too hot and sweating which then leads to freezing cold and wet. Over the years I've realized animal leathers have superior vapor and heat regulation qualities. Might have to make some for myself!

the WSJ running the same story as the NYT is not a verification

This reminds me of my friend who passed away in 2018, he probably would be able to tell me all about this music video. He was a sergeant in the army running a howitzer crew. He smoked weed everyday in the army and in life. Big metal head very matter of fact about how he saw things which is how most bitcoiners see things.

He was getting into regenerative agriculture for his home garden and home cannabis grow (illegal). He would have loved this movement. We had a 30 year age gap between us but shared a lot of values

Hate to disappoint you but it looks like Jesus decided he wasn't going to kill everyone today after all.

Some of the members of the don't trust verify crowd still running back the greatest fiat scam of all time.

In a world where I am against state overreach but for a consensus driven approach to not allowing one group of people to abuse another group I'd say this is entering a pretty agreeable territory of "Lets not have teenagers creating sex videos of peers without their knowledge or consent."

Lyn not to say you're doing this as you are protecting family.

But it seems like any entity earning cash flow in a superior currency could loot and pillage the hard assets/resources of a country with a dramatically devaluing currency.

The only risk being the precariousness of rule of law in that country.

It's 100% that. I have the same problem but with trying to find beach's to surf where there aren't a bunch of fuck heads clogging up the water with no etiquette or decency.

It is 100% about difficulty to reach/find the location.

I'm of the position that the language "You are responsible for anything that has ever happened to you" can easily be misinterpreted as "You are responsible for the actions done to you by others."

It is in fact a very common phenomenon that victims of abuse blame themselves. Women who were raped blame themselves they're taking extreme ownership the do infact believe they where responsible for it.

On the flip side, abusers by giving the victim extreme ownership do not actually take ownership for being an abuser as the victim did it to themselves.

What I am saying is there are victims in this world, but they do not have to identify as a victim. If I was hit by a drunk driver I was victimized in that moment but I do not have to make my personality that of a victim.

But in using the example of extreme ownership without nuance. That baby is responsible for itself, not me.

And so in this world there are circumstances and systems that have given people as unequal rights as a baby left on a doorstep of a person who is not going to care for it.

I wholeheartedly agree that adopting a victim mentality is a poison to the soul.

However when you use language like

"You’re responsible for everything that has ever or will ever happen to you. Good and bad."

That can easily be misinterpreted as you are responsible for the actions done to you by others. You put yourself in that situation and it is your fault.

The tangible benefit you get out of identifying as a victim in the drunk driver scenario is that you were the victim of a crime and the drunk driver is going to pay you a tremendous amount of money for breaking your legs.

It is the same as identifying as lucky to have won the lottery. But that does not mean your identity as a person who is forever lucky always winning raffles and serendipitous prizes.

In life there are victims, it doesn't mean they have to internalize victimhood as a soul form of personal identity.

However there are plenty of garbage people that use un-nuanced language to write off acts that victimize people as the victims fault. There are no victims if every is responsible for everything that has ever happened to them.

There are plenty of people that play the victim, especially in middle class America.

However, making a blanket statement like this is like claiming history does not exist.

I've read books that describe overseers who forced boys to suck their dicks nearly every morning to start the day.

But of course those boys were responsible, in the same way the boys that get raped by priests are responsible.

And by that logic if there are no victims and everyone is responsible for what happens to them then there are no perpetrators of crime are there? Those children let it happen, they where asking for it to be done.

Again plenty of people play victim or allow themselves to feel like victims in circumstances they could in fact change or not let happen in the first place.

But to say there are no victims is quite a historically illiterate statement.

Most people have a sub 3.5% a tremendous amount of people refinanced during the covid interest rate lows. Myself included, I was lucky enough to have bought a house prior to 2020. I know some people that chose to pay their whole morgtage off right at the start of 2020. They lost out on enormous market gains that the money would have been in had they not made the decision to essentially have a free short against the dollar while participating in all the upside of the dollar getting debased.
