Sometimes perfect does happen. That's some squirrel human flow state connection.
You hang out with the squirrels a lot. Maybe you can help me make peace with my squirrel neighbors. Because we've been having a bit of a multiyear feud to be honest.
We live in a town and the squirrels live in the eaves of our house. The house was left sitting for like 2 years before I bought it and started fixing it up. In this time I suspect the squirrels got used to it being their own without sharing.... I've blocked up a few of the eaves where they used to live but there are still other eaves that they live in.
Their is family that lives in the eaves of our house, I don't know how many generations have been born and moved out or what in the 6 years of being here. I get that I may have permanently crossed them with blocking up some of the access to the eaves.
We started a garden 3 years ago and each year since. The squirrels wait until the eggplants are about 3 to 4 days from being perfect to pick and they take them off the stem taking like 8 bites out of them and leave them on the walk to the path or on the picnic table. Sometimes they stare us down from the top of the neighbors shed after we walk out to the garden and chase them away. I foolishly spent the first summer throwing things at them. I knew in my heart this wouldn't work, I knew it was hardening their resolve to fuck with us. I knew the Michael Jordan meme (And I took that personally) was manifesting inside them.
The next year we put out nuts and bread crumbs to try to appease them, offer peace. I don't think they touched anything we put out.
This year with the chickens it seemed that they had changed the dynamic and the squirrels seemed less interested in the garden. I kind of thought we had reached some sort of cordial understanding.
Well, a couple days ago we found an eggplant on the path to the house.
Do you have any advice for how to mend this rift with the squirrels?
Do you have any
Picturing Warren in an 8 Mile grey hoody shadow boxing as the Gov market dumps, and then dumbfounded as the plebs rush the streets celebrating after buying the glorious dip. Giant " Thank You WARREN!" Banners emerging organically everywhere as the Meme spreads. The price returning to pre dump within a handful of days.
Bitcoiners pronounce "Warren Day"
your either self sovereign or you're not bro. that includes the butthole.
posers gunna pose
and that is your feeling
Notice they a clear to state "Those who predict". Save from Kyle (I can't say if he does or doesn't don't follow him) you will not find any scare mongering rhetoric from any of these authors.
What you see is an intelligent appeal to people who "feel" strongly that they will be repressed. Examples of Bitcoin helping people these people view as hero's is what will open their minds to Bitcoin. This isn't the crowd to give the Canadian truckers protest example to.
But again you'll be hard pressed to find the authors using the kind of rhetoric that some of the audience this piece is intended for has used.
Great to hear that. Thanks for putting it out there. It seems really important to have a piece with the combined academic and credentialed voices sending a message. Financial abuses towards ideological opponents of a Trump administration may help usher in era of awareness among progressives the importance of permission-less protocols.
ah man you gotta take pics when it's in bad shape too so you can look back and see how it recovers. I know it can be disheartening when they get beat up.
oh I see you guys don't get a ton of sun over there.
I'm looking forward to watching it grow if you're going to post more pictures.
Co-authored a piece in Newsweek urging Dems to pivot on bitcoin. We also plug “censorship-resistant publishing protocols” and link to a story on Nostr.

What has the interaction with the editors like with this piece?
That kind of makes an incentive to sell your harvest. You can easily get 100 to 300 grams or more off of a plant without doing anything extra than you'd do with a house plant.
hahaha great way to put it. Same for me too actually. what country do you live in?
it looks like she bounced back stronger than ever.
I managed farms for a handful of years. mostly in Humboldt County California.
pics are from the largest scale farm (and least fun). cannabis is an incredible plant.
