?

Uncloseable "N new post(s)" floater right on top of the part of the screen i look at most. It's an infuriating attention economy antipattern. At least allow me to disable it in settings. This is the kind of stuff I expect on captured networks like twitter.

yeah i reposted it note138vewzuuh4gajl3pfggpgevstavrx8hwydynele7vhexmwhukw4s8vkt6e

@npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg please stop this madness

Just read the disclosure of a severe vulnerability in libbitcoin's `bx` tool that limits seed entropy to 32 bits.

https://milksad.info/disclosure.html

Got me wondering about security of various multi/threshold signature wallets.

Traditional OP_CHECKMULTISIG adds one bit of entropy for each extra signer, given that the individual pubkeys are disclosed. A 2of2 multisig would be 33 bits of entropy and also easily identifiable as vulnerable once a spending tx is published.

But using taproot and musig2, the individual pubkeys are not disclosed, so the number of bits is doubled for each extra sig. A 2of2 multisig would be 64 bits of entropy, and not easily identifiable as vulnerable.

Haven't thought about musig2 this way before. It's a belts and suspenders type of thing in case entropy turns out to suck.

when the front end intern finds a gaping security hole in your new auth service 😬

pls sir may i have code audit?

I tried iris, coracle, primal, and satellite. None of them could display the NIP23 content except coracle, but it still did not display the NIP23 image properly. So far amethyst works best (haven't tried damus, no iphone) but I want to present this nostr account on a laptop so mobile apps don't help.

What browser client displays @npub15g7m7mrveqlpfnpa7njke3ccghmpryyqsn87vg8g8eqvqmxd60gqmx08lk posts correctly? Coracle does the best but it still doesn't load images. All other browser clients I have tried are unusable for this account.

Gotta tag nostr:npub16vzjeglr653mrmyqvu0trwaq29az753wr9th3hyrm5p63kz2zu8qzumhgd as thanks for all his help while I got my hands dirty =)
