I shocked someone the other day by asserting that $30 was not bad to go roller skating for 4 people for 2 hours. They didn't like my response "What else can you buy for $30? Not much!"

I need a pickup truck but I don't want a Ford the size of a house. I especially don't want to pay for more truck than I need. How feasible would it be to buy an IMV 0 in Mexico and drive it home?

A few off the top of my head:

Dragon's Egg - Robert L. Forward

Astronauts discover aliens on a neutron star.

Timemaster - Martha D. Trustee

Follow the ridiculous main character as he discovers negative mass and invents his way to a time loop.

Dichronauts - Greg Egan

Explore a world where time takes two dimensions and space takes the other two.

Came here to say Greg Egan.

"...you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"

This is a little weird in the mobile app. I guess it doesn't expect hyperlinks as footnotes. Looks great on a computer browser tho.

It publishes the article again, leaving the old comments, highlights, and links behind. I attempted to delete the old article, unclear if successful. I guess nostr builders need to figure out a protocol for event updates that works like http redirects in principle.

I added footnotes. Fantastic! Some clients like yours present them well with links to the footnote section and back to the body of the text. Some just publish the markdown, which is fine. Its not pretty but it gets the job done. I think clients need to specialize more and don't try to consume every event.

Great work! Very impressed! I will be publishing more articles!

Things you can improve w/o protocol work:

- If edit prepopulated the thumbnail, description, and tags it would save some work.

- Add footnotes to the text editing toolbar, or a markup explainer popup thingy. Just some way to display all markup options available to the user.

I can't wait to read your thoughts. Given your long term macro focus, can you draw any conclusions about the long-term impact this war will have on the region?

At this point it seems clear the American empire is in decline. Can Israel survive as an independent nation surrounded by enemies without American political and military support?

What's your best case scenario for a resolution to the conflict? Worst case scenario?
