They are actually stored in the twilight realm of Gozer, accessed via an api call to Zuul the Gatekeeper. There are many who say this unholy bargain will come back to haunt us in the future when our shitposts come to life and torture us in the offline world, forever transforming Earth into an hellscape of IRL social media memes. Real apocalyptic stuff. But at least there will be zaps!
Others say we can solve this problem by sheltering in our citadels after hyperbitcoinization. As usual, the debate raged hot for a while with pyrrhic victories on both sides until everyone got distracted by the price action and forgot all about it. Now they're all arguing about spam and mempool filters again.
Beyonce has a country song now. It's pretty good. 👍
Yeah Trezor One is a great first hardware wallet! I think you did good.
IMO Jade offers a better price/security tradeoff. It's cheaper because Blockstream hosts a blinded key server that serves the same function as a secure element. Usability is not as good, though.
SeedSigner is also a top recommendation. It can be part of a really strong security setup, if used correctly. But it has a different security model than your typical hardware wallet. You have to learn a lot about wallet security to understand the tradeoffs. SeedSigner UI is unparalleled. Best in class IMHO. But I haven't tried every hardware wallet out there....
There are a lot of options. If you ask 10 bitcoiners you will get 10 different answers. My best advice is to just stay curious, try everything, and never stop learning. 🤙
Excellent context around the Trezor One hardware wallet.
Now that's what I call motivation!
The sender can mint some ecash locked to the recipient's pubkey with a timeout after which the coins can be swept back to the senders wallet. This must be done before the sender goes offline.
So, it's technically possible but the UX is challenging. It seems a lot more promising with credit based ecash. Haven't thought through all of the scenarios, tho.
Android only AFAIK. Not sure about other clients. Amethyst tends to lead the pack in feature development. 🤙
Maximizing your reach is also a choice.
It looks Chris Belcher’s Teleport (coinswap) project has been forked and is being developed again. https://github.com/utxo-teleport/teleport-transactions #Bitcoin #privacy
Oh happy day! \o/
Depends on the client. I think there's a nip for it. Amethyst does this by default when you quote.
You gotta go where the people are. If you already have a big audience like Odell you can make this play. Plebs not so much...
Very cool! Congrats on the grant. Have you given any thought to TapAss stable coins? Do you think it would compete with this proposal, or be orthogonal, or complementary?
How do you accomplish 5 and 6 atomically? I assume it involves proof of payment, the hash preimage from the lightning invoice.

Throw back to the techy Ashlu river canyon. This section starts off with a waterfall called 50/50 that can catch you and hand out a beating right above a class 5 canyon. The rest of this river section is a series of must make moves in a canyon with lots of tricky boulder drops and features to get your bow over. #kayak #river #adventure #nostr #whitewater #waterfall
sick 🤙
Amethyst has edits 🥰
I assume you looled at https://bitcoinerjobs.com/
