16 years later, do you think we have enough anonymity with bitcoin ?

One thing that lowkey bugs me is business cycles.

Why can't it be slow, incremental, and constant growth instead of rapid, growth, and decline?

I get it's all part of taxes, income, debt, stipulatiory stimulus, Holiday spending, etc. but why can't we just make more holidays, encourage more spending, and growth?

And I get spending doesn't grow the economy, savings do but why aren't we incentivizing a savings system that allows perpetual growth.

And I get maybe it's principles of energy/life, creation, existence, destruction, etc. but this just bugs me honestly.

I've noticed, that it always shows the right numbers. The right follower counts (every other client, except nostr.band, fails here), the right amount of zaps of an article (long form post). Yakihonne is out here, it has recently lost every trace of old zaps. Notifying me about all likes and comments. I discover comments on notes that I haven't seen in web clients like Primal or Yakihonne. Generally, Damus and Primal miss many notifications. Not so Amethyst.

All my clients run with the same set of relays.

So, what is Amethyst's secret ingredient?

I've been using Global as my main feed this week. It's been a nice experience, after configuring my Global to only use paid relays, private relays, and welcome.nostr.wine to find new Nostriches.
