They had insufficient funds to go to trial. The costs of these sorts of high profile cases are astronomical. They spent $4m in legal fees to get as far as they did. They would have needed +$10m to last to trial. The government drowns their opponents in discovery and all manner of delaying tactics in order to drive up the costs of trial, all while dangling plea deals with lighter sentencing. If they had gone to trial and lost it would have likely been 25 years instead of 5.

I'd be more concerned with the amount of test and HGH required to approach anything I'd consider "Bigorexia".

The whole story is out.

They made a non-Custodial Bitcoin wallet with privacy features. They got chargd with unlicensed money transmission, in spite of never controlling the funds of anyone using the wallet. They were not charged with money laundering.

They understand supply and demand.

Back in the early days of the forming of the US and through the 1800s and even up to maybe mid-1900s, the local sheriff was a standup person for the most part and a good buffer between your district and the feds.

Obesity is actually going down the for the first time in decades now.

Part of this is that when this car was first built and sold, it's customers were by far and away some of the wealthiest people in the world. Nowadays normal Americans are much poorer, so the more direct comparison might be a high end luxury car sold today.
