Thats not how nostr works. You cant just delete yourself. Learn how it works and youll learn why. There are NUMEROUS guides out there about how nostr works written by different people you dont HAVE TO go through reddit.

Ok, fine. But as said in the guide, some clients do allow to mark profile deleted. That's what I want in every client that I use. Until that is implemented everywhere, either I have to get an iPhone or wait till one of clients get that feature.
From what I've read there is no way to delete nostr/amethyst/snort.social account currently. The only way to do that is too get damus on iOS (apparently you have to have a delete account option or else the app store won't let you enter). Is this right or am I missing something?
World is not black and white, buddy. Just cause I find this nostr/amethyst thing confusion doesn't mean I'll go back to zuck (haven't logged in a long time). All I wish is this app/website/ protocol to be more user inutiative . I don't want people like you who gatekeep and don't help others.
Amethyst app roadmap has still yet to add a faq/help section. An average user is not patient enough to go through multiple reddit threads and YouTube videos to understand what's going on. Also if an app lets me create an account, it should allow me delete the said account as well

The average user should have been made a priority for nostr. This stuff is so niche and vague. No way people are going to be convinced to join this platform unless some changes are made

If nobody is willing to tell you like it is, they are all protecting you from harsh reality. Only when are exposed to reality we can then truly wake up and make the necessary changes.
This nostr stuff should be easy enough from somebody who is 18 and 80 can both understand. This isn't.
I still stand by this statement. Why am I having to work out how to operate an account? I know this is still sort of beta stage but damn.
