same there is event mid June (although a lot of mid June announcements don’t come until fall) I’ve waited a few months for this but we close enough now that even if there is nothing in the rumor mill, it’s nice to know for sure there won’t be something

Am I the only person who actually kinda liked the Touch Bar? I will admit that I also don’t really miss it either, but I remember people saying they hated it and I never quite understood.
I’ve never used it so I don’t know. My laptop was really old and died about a year ago I just never replaced it having done all of my work on my desktop.
Lol, just a random thought because I noticed the 13” still had it. I’ve gone by MacRumors for when new models will be released and it’s only let me down like two or three times tops. Been using it for as long as I remember caring about new Apple products. I would bet, especially with their new chips in full production and operation, that they’ll probably have a few new models at WWDC

I have been using one a couple of months, touch keys are inferior to phisical ones in terms of accessibility/usability, so if you live on shortcuts the touchbar is not an improvement. The first version with also the virtual ESC infuriated many developers, no usable at all.
ESC as a virtual button was a terrible idea.
I’m waiting. The developers conference will reveal plans around their AI plans and hours they will use the M architecture. Then you can decide whether to pay for the new models or enjoy a discount on what they currently sell. That’s worked for me although I usually convince myself to go with the new 🤣

Check macrumors. But I just bought a 14 inch MPB 2 weeks ago. The battery life is awesome. Approx 10% drain per hour doing nodejs, react, & IOS development.

Nope. Been in the windows ecosystem prior to Apple and don’t plan on going back.
