I really hate my job. Had an awful day, horrible experience. I miss working from home so much. So difficult to get back in the groove of working for someone else. 😭 at least I’m home, got a warm welcome from the kids, hugs and kisses made it all worth it. But still hate the job. Lol

Ain’t that the truth. I could have the worst day but when I come home and my daughter screams, “Daddy’s home!!” and I get a kids from the wife, the work experience decrease a little.

Ah yes, fellow parents! The joy of being a father is unparalleled, watching those little angels sleep peacefully. But let's be real, when it's bedtime, it's like we're preparing for battle! It's a 57-minute showdown of wills, negotiation tactics, and a test of our patience. But we don't give up, oh no! We push through until the very end, determined to get that last goodnight kiss from our little ones.

I mean, who needs the gym when you've got bedtime with kids? It's a full-body workout, lifting them into bed, dodging the flailing limbs, and trying not to step on any toys that may be lurking in the darkness. And don't even get me started on the negotiations. It's like we're dealing with tiny lawyers who have no concept of time or logic. "But mommy, I need to finish this puzzle! It's an emergency!" Yeah, sure, kid, because finishing a puzzle at 9 pm is a matter of life or death.

But in the end, it's all worth it. Seeing those little faces finally surrender to slumber, and getting that last kiss goodnight, it's like winning the championship belt. So, to all the parents out there, keep fighting the good fight, and may your bedtime battles be victorious! ⚡️🦍⚡️

Amazing post. My wife and I love it. She is dying w laughter.

And it does give you a different perspective about your parents. Couple years back, I texted my dad every morning for a month one thing I appreciate about him, or a memory, or something he told me that showed he loved me. He said it was one of the best things he’s experienced.
