Good morning nostr friends, this week is flying by, already Thursday again. I need to get the feeding chores done early because we'll be attending another town meeting about the battery storage facility that wants to set up nearby. The general public sentiment seems to be "Hell no, move on to somewhere else". Folks are fearful of a fire incident, which our volunteer fire depts are not equipped to handle. Plus there are many other questions. The company is also asking for tax abatements, which has the locals up in arms, but i think the county officers have already decided against granting that.
