It should be able to work for lightning and base chain transactions. For nostr you would need to make a separate wallet if you use primal. On Damus you can use nostr wallet connect. I dont know if WoS is possible with Nostr wallet connect though

Maybe it’s a multigsig setup, perhaps there proof or reserves included in the deal etc. Bit too quick to say its a bad setup by definition. Ok, that sounds like some solid points of improvement. I haven’t watched the channel much so in no position to refute them.
Still I don’t wish this kind of action against any genuine and honest actor regardless on what stage they are on their bitcoin journey. And yes, I also can’t judge if they’re genuinely trying. But I’ll still give it the benefit of the doubt. Incentives can be strong, and most people are still working and measuring from the old system.
Whether people simp for them is up to them. No shame in trying to muster a counter weight to youtube. Even though the solution will never be as sustainable as a technical one, like Nostr.

Help yourself realize that reading and listening is a slow way to learn. Your body and mind respond differently when it realizes it HAS to know these things.
Buy some btc at some crappy exchange at first that allows you to send it to the base chain and lightning addresses (start small, this is just to learn the ropes).
Send some to a self custody wallet on the base chain and a lightning wallet.
Find shops and places - nostr is one of those ‘shop’ where you can use lightning. This will help you realize it’s useable.
The BTC on the base chain has less risk and helps you realize you are now your own bank. Even better, with twelve words you can now move yourself anywhere in the world and take your money with you.
Be ok to lose some or to pay higher transaction costs by accident. It happened to all of us but the sooner you step over that fear the faster it goes.
Remember you spend tens of thousands, if not hundreds of hours making money. Spending a couple tens or hundreds of dollars to learn how to keep it safe is a bargain.
