Paste the entire URL of the image ending with .jpg/.png/.gif etc.

Originally introduced as a Bitcoin Improvement Proposal. It was introduced in Bitcoin wallets which use deterministic entropy (repetition) to generate some 10,000 seed phrases from a single master seed. You could just backup that master seed, and use the deterministic entropy derived child seeds in different Bitcoin wallets. The child seed cannot be traced back or reverse engineered to the original master seed or between child seeds.

Similarly, if we generate a master seed and then generate one child seed and it’s pubkey/hex for nostr social clients, another for other nostr clients in future like a signal messenger like client, Reddit client etc. This way the master seed can be safely coldstored on a hardware wallet and backed up. You can rederive childseeds and just recall the index numbers.

I use Joplin for my texts. It is more like a notebook 📒. There’s also EasyEditText which is more like a notepad/.txt file editor.

You’re welcome. Let me know how it goes for you. 🤙

No, I’m not currently aware of any such tool to migrate events from one owned key to another.

Tomorrow I will publish new guides for key generation and management for Nostr with the tools available, including use of BIP-85 derived seeds to generate a new public/private key pair.

You’re welcome! 🤙

Both my Guides have been updated to include proper configuration of CORS permissions.

Guides include - Lightning Address redirection/forwarding and setting up NIP-05 on your domain.

Let me know if anyone's still having troubles setting up and I can assist.

You’re welcome. You’ll love spending time here and the content posted by plebs are amazing. 🤙

Can’t wait to setup this with a premium relay. Good way to handle spam with a small lighting ⚡️fee.

Use the full URL with ending with the image file .jpg/.png/.gif etc. For your link it is ``

Figured it out to setup for Apache. I had to create a condition regex check for security reasons for only the /.well-known/lnurlp path. Within that you just need to add Header always set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*". After that it should work. Check the pastebin I've provided below and modify it as needed. The redirect line there is for Lightning Address forwarding/redirection.

I was basically following this guide https://enable-cors.org/server_apache.html

However, on another guide here - https://ubiq.co/tech-blog/set-access-control-allow-origin-cors-headers-apache/. Maybe you just need to add Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"

 or  of your config file.

Try to see if any of those works out for you. I run nginx so I'm able to test it. Don't have Apache2 running atm to verify.

Hmm strange, there isn’t a tor folder located in nostream/.nostr/ I see a data folder, db-logs folder and settings.json all owned my by user and group. Let me try creating a tor folder in there with permission for the user and group.

Updated my relay wss://nostr.orangepill.dev to Nostream v1.17.2. I can once again see my settings.json pubkey and other setup details on nostr.watch. On v1.17.0 this disappeared.

#[0] However, I noticed that the TOR hidden service started fine with v1.17.0, but fails with v1.17.0 Unable to add Tor hidden service. Skipping. [Error: EACCES: permission denied, open '/home/node/v3_onion_private_key'].

In fact there's no such directory. Any solution? The relay is up on clearnet though, so it's still ok.

No, the output should have the following, compare mine

and in CURL you should see Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *

Will update my guide at orangepill.dev so that it’s more cleaner to read and copy.
