Where is the #BTC coming from for these ETF's?

Coinbase is the custodian for most of the Spot ETFs. 18,000 #bitcoin have been taken off Coinbase today. They now have fewer BTCs than Bitfinex and Binance. Supply shock is inevitable.

Is the Bitcoin community aware that they're using an SMS-required closed platform that can only be read by KYCed people to conduct their protocol discussions?

Does this ever work for long, however?

I think they are still planning to implement lightning for withdrawals and this will lower the threshold sometime this year

Bitcoin Twitter really seems to be dying.

It seems mostly drowning into Main Character Syndrome capture, engagement farming, useful idiots cheerleading grifters, with very short bursts moments of energized grasps for air of really good posts and discussions.

The trend is noise over signal.

It's kinda sad as it had a very good moment, but i guess nothing is for ever.

What is still unclear is a lot of important public discussions need to be had. But they seem to be Balkanizing and going dark. My DMs are full of things that would serve the commons. But people no longer have the patience for Eternal September arguments and socks.

Nostr could become one of the new bitcoin public squares, but we are definitely still far from it. Gotta find the purple pill formula for the bitcoiner nostr derangement syndrome. ✌️

My chair broke. I looked up how much good chairs cost and ... omg I am in the wrong business! I see $1-2k chairs and people buy them. Makes sense, it's what you spend a lot of time on if you sit at your desk.

Some companies say that’s the only thing that matters. The “hiring process” for Bitcoin companies is a total joke right now with positions mostly filled by people earlier into Bitcoin that know the founders. They have every right to do that, and I don’t even blame them, but to act like the candidates are the problem is unfair. I know many plebs, including myself, with dozens of applications that receive absolutely zero feedback, or even a response. There is no uniform standard anywhere, and thousands of people apply for one or two jobs. There is a massive mismatch between supply and demand. Enjoy it as the employer while you can.
