Don't look back!

More than 5000 new users joined the Nostr protocol this week, per https://primal.net/explore

Finally on NOSTR. (Yeah, I saw nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m's talk, and I nuked x finally). What's good? #nostr #introductions.

Don't reactivate!

It's iffy right now on Primal Android. Proper tagging feature planned for upcoming releases by end of March or so. See: https://primal.net/e/note1zltepxy2hjk5qx568lj9jz344af0srcum9vhqehj2j0r32lxev4qg3nyp7

I think lightning might win in terms of easiness of use and quickness. Privacy? Not so much. Monero would be more self-custody friendly with some UI/UX quirks and not as fast yet arguably more private. Lightning would be faster and potentially easier yet not as private and working under the terms of IOU vs. the tangible piconeros.

Monero because block confirmation time is about 2 minutes vs. 10 on BTC side. Fees are about a penny, BTC fees can go ballistic. Unless we're talking about lightning, it's a no-brainer for XMR.

Primal works like a charm on Android. If it comes to that, why not just send your Alby balance to your Primal fresh wallet?

Might be because there's no algorithm keeping you hooked up, angered and depressed. Also, it's nascent nature; still early days for the protocol.

My pleasure. If that doesn't do it for you, hit me up and I'll try to find something else for you. Cheers.

"Primal’s caching service for Nostr connects to the specified set of relays, collects all events in real time, stores them locally, and makes them available to nostr clients through a web socket-based API." Hmm, sounds like the bouncer? 🤔
