I recently listened to AI 2041, it explained well the expected advances in AI and robots by the year 2041. It seems there are many amazing things that AI and robots will be able to do, but the two main problems seem to be covered in the chapters about autonomous weapons and human job displacement.

The Senate Republican’s version of the 'big, beautiful bill' sets up a potential clash with House Republicans. 🇺🇸 Democrats in the Senate and House are against the bill because of cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Despite all the cuts the spending bill will still increase the federal debt which will increase inflation for all Americans on top of the already higher prices from the Trump Administration’s tariffs. 🇺🇸
While many Democrat and Republican administrations have increased the federal debt which then has increased inflation, the Trump Administration has also added across the board tariffs that are constantly changing at the same time which will have widespread negative impacts on the US economy when we feel the full impact of both tariffs and increased inflation presumably starting later this summer. 🇺🇸

This was an interesting study that developed an AI prediction model to predict which patients will have mental health deterioration or agitation events to help protect providers and patients.
Study: Over the past decade, general emergency department visits for mental health conditions increased by 53%, while overall visits increased by only 8.6%. Agitation, defined as excessive psychomotor activity leading to aggressive and violent behavior, is a frequent feature of mental health–related emergency visits. This study using a cross-sectional cohort of ED visits across 9 hospitals, developed a prediction model including factors for detecting risk of agitation that demonstrated high accuracy and applicability across diverse patient populations. These results suggest that clinical application of the model may enhance patient-centered care through preemptive deescalation and prevention of agitation.
