Which relays have you joined? I've tried a few, but with my whooping 24 followers I think that I'm mostly in read-only mode in most WoT relays for now.

The cure to using spammy relays is to not use spammy relays.

This is an intelligence test and some people are failing it. They weren't ready for #Nostr.

I still see dozens of people daily on the brink of leaving because of spam, but it's effectively solved if people use the tools we already have

Might just be me but some reading seemed like it eventually happens to everyone. All you have to do is log in from another computer or change your IP address and you're flagged. If you ever get locked out, it requires ID verification.

I knew LinkedIn was a giant piece of shit, so this just confirmed it. You get locked out if you don't verify identity in a certain period of time. A smart phone and app is required in order to upload verification data (government id and a selfie). You cannot contact support unless to can sign in.

So to recap, I cannot access, edit, or delete my account without sign in, I cannot sign in unless I verify my identity, I cannot verify my identity without a smart phone and their fucking app, I cannot contact support to help me without access.

This is by design. Instagram and Snapchat also require the app to be installed on a smart phone before web access can be temporarily authorized.

No it just functions as an aux speaker now and not online.
