With regards to your last sentence. Defecting and escaping is what a normal sane minded person would try to do. Instead of being a sitting duck and potentially one conscripted to fight yet another stupid bloody war.
This uncle is downbad.
This is what the cult of empire looks like - A complete disregard for inoocent lives and their private property.
Ah cool cool! Let me know how I can help. It shouldn't be a big problem to do.

Chicago is banging
I live in a small town, very nice and near nature. Nature on my doorstep.
I walk around the suburb everyday. Spectaular place and has everything I need.

Yeah nah, fuck the state (which goes for both the Ukrainian one and the Russian one) and all those around the world. Screw conscription, screw massacres and warmongering.
I'm happy you are alive mate, but I can never see eye to eye with those who steal from the people (via taxation) and then on too of that, as if to add insuly to injury, spend it on killing people in a pathetic ongoing war.
Let's not forget the incursion on the rights of people to bare arms in most nations. Leaving citizens as sitting ducks; ripe for the taking.
One of the best things I could have spent time on whilst working on the non-code aspects of my compiler was that of setting up GitHub Actions (which is cross-compatible with Gitea Actions meaning no vendor lock-in; a fact I only later discovered).
The set of tests grew to large to test by hand which something I had been doing a while back. This new automation was one of those few ones that are actually worth it.
Amongst the tests are even semantic ones. I.E. ones where I test the generated code during runtime of it.

War is disgusting and degenerate.
War is "the health of the state"
Felt like playing with my camera a little bit, took this - came out quite nice

Same man π. I have too much on my todo list, so I have moved a bunch of stuff to next year.
Gotta focus on onething at a time.
Fixed the last bug on my one PR for my TLang compiler.
Now all unittests pass β
