My neighbors have a well and just replaced their pump this year and with permits and other cost they realize its cheaper to carry it in.
But like me they like the sovereignty and I will have at least 1 well.
Their not irrigating their fields anymore so just small gardens and house needs are nothing..
We have 1000 room resort hotels that truck the water in. đ¤Ł
Yes, great success in humid areas like here. The plants even do it naturally. I theres a lichen that grows on many of the plant and captures water from the air to share.
Also look up water generators. Passive and active ways to get water from the river of air above.
Yes $1per tank so $4 and it's my truck which I drive 8 miles total to go get. My guess is just a few dollars of diesel at most.
Really no point, but capturing from the air using nets and more plants is an option.

Tyring to figure out the best way to post from nostr build these days...

My water carrying and delivery. Need to do it every month or 2. Truck holds about 4 tons, 1000 liters per tank, totalling about 1000 gallons. Cost for the water is about $1usd per tank. So cheap its doesn't make sense for a well until there are more people moving here.
Using a 3"pipe is much faster than connecting up hoses. Takes about 5 minutes to dump a cube. Just have to rember to take the top off...oops đ¤Ł
Using dumping truck water is a feature not a bug, as in the picture where I open the tanks and dump the excess directly on the mesquite tree.

Buenos dĂas nostriches...

I understand but had it here and just using it to learn more. Not at all final solution. Will be setting up a server for ranch later with Bitcoin, Lighting, Nostr etc...

Spun up a new btc/lighting node raspberry 4, 8 gig and IBD took only 51 hours over a Starlink. I'm impressed as on fiber optic it took longer over a year ago when of course it was much smaller...
Now to really go learn lighting, well maybe next week..
Have a great day, pura vidađ¤

Syncing a new node via a Starlink and has downloaded 50% in 18hrs and 73% in 30hrs.
I know it should slow up at the end alot with the last 6 months taking a long time but this seems much faster than when I did with fiber land line.

Roads, roads and just a few more roads...
