I got seriously distracted with Nostr tonight. Gotta say GN early.

It’s tempting to want to be likable, but trying to be likable turns into unrelatable real quick.

Whenever I make a note, I just assume it’s going straight into the void and nobody will ever see it. That way, I’m noting what I WANT instead of what I think other people would like to see.

If people like it, they resonate with something about ME and not some sort of reflection I created of them. I’m not here to connect with EVERYONE, I’m here to find my tribe✌️

Do you search highest zapped content?

Both are valid and support each other. This, one thing or the other, likes vs zaps, repost vs quote post, is low-quality campaigning. Nostr works best with all the tools at its disposal.

What are your three rules of #nostr?

Mine would be:

1. Never ask for zaps

It's horrible style

2. Never like posts - only zaps, replies, or reposts

This forces you to be more selective and actually interact with posts

3. Never send a DM that you wouldn't want everyone on nostr to read

At least until the privacy issue gets sorted out
