Come check out my stream on zap.stream Connected fiefdowm - Joel Salatin
nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn always talks about running nostr services for his church, but an even better use case would be a farming co-op.
Especially hearing from nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr and nostr:npub1lunaq893u4hmtpvqxpk8hfmtkqmm7ggutdtnc4hyuux2skr4ttcqr827lj on citadel dispatch, we seem to be circling the same ideas and companies where orgs create sovereign tech stacks.
So my question is whats the current state of the tech stack for an entire org?
Comms: nostr dms and groups also group run relay)
Data: blossom and satellite (can I integrate nextcloud)
Git: in progress, but private gite works
Calendar: (flockstr but needs work)
Shop: several clients
Audio meetings: Nests and corny (would it make sense to host your own version of these?)
Video meetings:?
Knowledge base: wiki fredia
Transaction: ecash mint for group
Is it even possible to run all of these efficiently? Would it even be possible to have uniform branding across all of these if you ran them yourself? What gaps am I missing

It's been fun to play around with. I've only been doing the home lab stuff for a few months, but my intention was just to use start9, but within the first week I realized it didn't give me the control I wanted, so I've been working on this.
Once I get a few service spun up and migrated off my start9 vm into these individual containers, I want to start experimenting with ways abstract the state of the LXCs the that I could see what happens when have one instance of each DB flavor running on proxmox and then connect each app to a segregated DB on those so DB management is centralized which would enable a simplified DR solution.
I manage 5 k8s clusters at work, but they're all in aws so it's way easier.
NY home lab has proxmox on it, so Im just running an lxc per service. So far I have the automation for the initial setup if a gitea lxc and ansible and I have it spinning up one more lxc.
What's the reason you're self hosting kubernetes? Isn't that overkill?
Started leeks inside... Didn't know there were different methods for growing it.... Zapped cuz now I know what to research, thanks.
Dope. I just finished writing automation for proxmox to spin up gitea and ansible LXCs and use ansible to deploy more LXCs on proxmox, hoping to have it cleaned up in the next couple days if the rains keep up and I can't work on farm chores.
Fat zaps when you do! Especially if the input is just a list of repos in a csv within the code base
You got a link to a job for Dat? I'd like to do that but too lazy to setup cron jobs.
Locally, or in something you self host like gitea

What if we all dumped our Phoenix wallets into the Bitcoin Defense fund if they rep the Samourai team
They're basically an invasive native where I live. Since wildfires don't happen anymore, they're prolific. Moving sprouts is bad luck or I'd do that.
Does anyone know how to grow red cedar from the "seeds" it produces?
I have a brand new electric fence but when that needs to be replaced in 20 years, I'd like to have grown one made of hedge, honey locust and cedar to double as a wind break.
