Hillbilly philosopher. Seeking excellence. I build things.

I think they call it #zapvertizing

People comment what's basically an ad but zap you some sats to make it OK.

I'm loving the book we're reading in LevelUP #bookclub this month.

It's #thehappinessadvantage by Shawn Achor.

If you haven't read or listened to it, I highly recommend it!

As solo entrepreneurs who are the everything guy in your biz, its easy to overlook certain elements of business that don't seem to make much difference in the moment.

Here's 5 mistakes a lot of solo business owners make that compound (in a bad way) into the future and end to negatively affecting your business: https://youtu.be/kHm9dGR0XVE

Do you wake up every day excited to start your work? Here’s why loving what you do is essential for success. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

When you love your work, you approach it with enthusiasm and energy. This leads to higher productivity and better quality results. Your passion for the work motivates you to go above and beyond what is expected of you.

Loving your work also means you are constantly seeking to improve and learn. You don't see the tasks as a chore, but as an opportunity to grow and develop your skills. This mindset helps you stay ahead of the curve in your industry.

Passion for work drives creativity and innovation. When you are passionate about something, you are more likely to come up with unique and innovative solutions to problems. This can set you apart in your industry and help you stand out from the competition.

Loving your work also means you are more likely to stick with it through tough times. You are willing to put in the extra effort and time to overcome obstacles and see your project through to completion. This resilience is essential for success.

When you love your work, it doesn't feel like work at all. You are fulfilled and satisfied by what you do, and this translates into a positive attitude and outlook on life. You are happier, more content, and more fulfilled overall.

If you don't love your current work, it's never too late to make a change. Take some time to reflect on what you are passionate about and how you can incorporate that into your career. It may require some hard work and sacrifice, but the rewards are worth it.

In conclusion, loving the work you do is essential for success. It gives you energy, motivation, creativity, and resilience. If you haven't found your passion yet, keep searching. When you do, you'll know it, and it will transform your life.

What do you love the most about your current work?

How can you do more of that?

Who says serving isn't fun?😁

What does it take to start a service business in 2023?

I'm glad you asked: https://youtu.be/LHNOBXsGZNM

It did! Thanks again 😁

Wow! Not what you want inside your shower wall 😣

Is it possible to add multiple images to a note?

When I was a kid a missionary visited our church. The stories he told and the way he spoke....I was captivated.

From that point on I wanted to be a missionary.

In my kid mind that meant traveling to foreign countries and living out in the bush in a shack.

As an adult, I see that the key part of being a missionary is having a heart to help others.

While I don't travel much or live in a shack, I DO have a heart to help others do better, be better, and ultimately LIVE better lives.

Do I preach at all the people I meet?

No!

But I do my best to live in a way that shows others there's something more worth living for.

In that way I'm more and more every day realizing my childhood dream of becoming a missionary.

What was your childhood dream?

There's a few common things that new business owners, especially solopreneurs, struggle with.

😣 - limited resources/funding zapping your motivation

😣 - uncertainty on next steps

😣 - overwhelm from the workload of starting a business WHILE working a full-time job

😣 - lack of expertise in business and/or marketing

There's a simple solution answer to each of these....

βœ…'The One Thing'......YOUR one thing.

Cheeky? Yes.

Effective? Also yes.

What is it that's keeping you from starting or moving forward?

What was the biggest struggle you had to overcome when starting your business?

Getting lots done on the house lately.

Who are some great people to follow here. So far all I see are posts saying #gm coffeechain and #grownostr (which seems redundant because we're ON NOSTR πŸ™„)

Looking for substantive and informative people to follow.

Thanks for your suggestions 😁
