You typically dox yourself if you order a dedicated hardware wallet onlinee. The company you order it from typically holds the record that can be leaked. You also expose yourself to supply chain attacks, a possibilty of somebody swapping it with malitiouse one or modifying it.
When traveling, you owning a dedicated harware wallet indicates already that you may own some Bitcoin. Not to mention it can be confiscated.
Traveling with a Raspberry Pi and a display says nothing about you owning some Bitcoin. You do not need to even travel with it. You most likely are able to source these parts at your destination.
The fact that nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl can be build from of the off the shelf components is so underappreciated. At the same time ordering a dedicated hardware wallet or traveling with it is a risk that is underestimated.
