I am going to be honest (no hate just user feedback from a normie), and it’s not just related to this specific post.

Stop fucking shipping an app every day that ends with an Y.

At most I will be using 1 to 3 Nostr apps, no I will not be trying the flavour app of the month.

I can’t even get my family out of WhatsApp, I use signal with 2 tech savvy friends, and I had other 2 that just gave up because I was their only contact there.

As a matter of fact I want to delete signal and just use nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg with proper message privacy.

This app releases in Nostr might seem like an echo system creation, to me just look like a circle jerk between developers. I get it that we need an echo system but if the apps can’t be plug and play integrated between each other, don’t be surprised if nobody tries out your app or that Nostr doesn’t have adoption.

And stuff like Shakespeare is cool but I don’t want to have my own app I hope we consolidate features.

#nostr

Oh? Football is a culture thing. A lot of things revolve around football. Even hooligans didn't really care about who the players were, but the colours represent something to them.

Some people plan their weekends around football matches.

But as a plus to your point, home fans do have a lot more at stake, but doesn't mean others can't show support either.

Speaking from a Nigerian perspective, it works best as a store of value. I really don't see why I would buy land in useless ₦, when I can just save in Bitcoin. Cost of access is much less steep as well. No red tape and corruption as you would find at your local Land and Survey office, just do your thing and stack sats.

It is however, also useful as a medium of exchange. Especially for cross border payments.
