You're right. His current contract sees his income going up for the next three years and they will want to resign him because he's trained as step-up for a number of important roles. I had actually never considered that... I always thought about it in terms of raising a school aged kid on our current income... 🤔 That just rocked my world...
Now do you have suggestions for the fact that I don't have support networks for raising a kid? I wouldn't leave three of the kid's grandparents alone with it for a second for my child's safety. I probably feel the same way about kindy and school teachers the way the education system is headed 🙄
That's government for ya 🙄The irony is we could easily have paid for every medical emergency that has come up. But we'd also have more in savings so be more ready for the next one if we weren't forking out thousands every year or paying the thousands the gov would take if we didn't. I guess if I want to look at the bright side... I got a private room when I was in hospital for a few nights, I got a free surgery and didn't have to be on the waiting list for years like my friend who had the same surgery and cheaper dental/free check ups.
Yeah been thinking of having a kid, but liquidating land in a hurry is not easy. Probably doubly so if it has family renting it.
Hubby and I have it. You have to have it here for your whole family once you earn over a certain amount or else the gov takes an additional percentage of your income at tax time.
I'm probably middle-class then. We could be higher up the ladder but our rental property is negatively geared because hubby's mum and little bro live in it at significantly less than it costs him. There is a slight tax benefit to us for this. If he wasn't subsidising them to the tune of >10K/year then we'd be thoroughly middle-class. We'd probably also be able to afford kids, but don't get me started. Would I be the bad guy if I considered telling him he has four other siblings and we should sell her house and have a kid before we are too old?
We have number 1 in Australia... It just costs a fortune.
Sometimes it's fun to be consumed by good whiskey, it seems to give me the worst hangovers though. Hope you fair better the next morning than I do on it 😊
Women comedians are plenty funny, thank you very much. It's the oppressive patriarchy that has taught you we are not.
Just take me for example, I'm hilarious. If you don't laugh at my jokes you must be the patriarchy or a white racist old man. Hmmf. Take that...
I think third wave feminism and cultural Marxism ruined women's humour 🙄
A carnivore is an organism that eats mostly meat, or the flesh of animals. Although, sometimes I enjoy the blood of grapes too..
I'm a carnivore?
That second part sounds just like someone else I know 🤔
My worst fear is abusing my friends in the same manner I abuse pedos I meet online. Have fun using that against me. 😜
I only truly get along with a narrow range of people and they are usually those who share similar interests to me. So if her interests were similar we would be instantly best friends.. But probably not.
Reading entire libraries?... He moves super fast right? Then he should be able to read super fast 👌😂🤔
I'd just fly everywhere. Maybe even to other countries? I don't know anything about Superman's powers 🙁
That sounds like a fair point.
Hmm... If they do, they don't say anything. Maybe I'm a natural... Or maybe I'm blunt more often than I think I am 🤔
Nah, I have no time for lies and can be blunt. When I want to protect someone I don't say anything or I divert if asked.
