Amy Schumer pisses me off so much
She's not even funny. There's only one female comedian that I find absolutely fucking hilarious her name is Deborah digiovanni.
It's interesting to think about this one. I think in general dudes are more likely to have a developed sense of humor because it's an asset that makes them attractive. The stereotype of dumb/bland beautiful women is true to an extent, they've always been able to get what they want thanks to good looks so haven't really developed other things like humor that much.
Funny females obviously exist, you're a great example of that. I think most female comedians just try too hard, especially when they try to exaggerate dirty humor they think the guys like (see Amy Schumer, she's fucking obnoxious).
I completely agree. I also feel like women who grew up with a lot of brothers are funny too. I just hate when some women and black female comedians talk about sex too much and say the word vagina non-stop like they learned it yesterday it's really annoying
Yeah it's fucking obnoxious, I think there's a stereotype playing in their minds that dudes make dirty jokes so the feminist thing to do is go hard on dirty jokes themselves.
Reminds me of this completely unrelated time I was having a beer with a few workmates, this openly gay guy we work with grabbed this other dude's ass jokingly, knowing that it makes him uncomfortable. It was all taken in good humor but we made some kind of "HR!" joke and he replied saying "oh come on, you guys do this all the time". Motherfucker we don't, if I grab a female colleague's ass, I'll be promptly walked out of the building, joke or not.
It's a perception thing, idk.
That's going to be debated for ever.
The ones that are funny are really, really funny, though.
It's a sexual thing. Humor is a mental/social device used for icebreaking, and in the social/sociosexual marketplace, the burden to approach and break ice has always been on men.
Also, a significant part of humor is to break taboos and social convention, which again is male territory, because females are more conformist than men due to being far less risk-prone.

I think its mostly topics. Female comedians seem to try so hard to be edgy but it always ends up being about themselves and their identity as a woman or sex.
The only female stand up comedian I enjoy is Maria Bamford and she's more absurdist and weird.
I agree I think they're trying to overcompensate when they really just need to be themselves and be dumb and silly
Women comedians are plenty funny, thank you very much. It's the oppressive patriarchy that has taught you we are not.
Just take me for example, I'm hilarious. If you don't laugh at my jokes you must be the patriarchy or a white racist old man. Hmmf. Take that...
I think third wave feminism and cultural Marxism ruined women's humour 🙄
