I want to own my own bitcoin wallet in my head by memorising a 12 word seed phrase.

So I wrote a small program that can run offline and scroll through randomly generated seed phrases until I find a memorable one, and generate private public keys, and display qrcodes in terminal window.

If anyone wants to use it the are welcome.

Script can run directly on python, there is an exe if you want. I suppose the exe could be fine in an offline only situation.

Feeling successful, just completed my full node setup and wanted to share.

This was a journey for me, I’m not native linux.

Vnc accessible headless macmini,

Using virtualbox loaded with ubuntu,

installed with umbrel, all on external ssd, easy move to new device.

Copied previous synced blockchain onto umbrel to avoid full resync.

Setup lightning, funded lightning in/out channels.

Setup btcpay server to accept onchain or lightning.

Linked btcpay to external web address with ssl certificate using nginx.

Running bisq on macos, managed to connect it to umbel core in the virtualbox.

Linked ios zeus wallet on to lightning node.
