GM.

The wheel keeps turning.

It's hamster time.

It's been Monday for 25 minutes already. I'll ignore that and pretend it is 2130 Sunday night so I get a longer sleep.

I love shingles, and shakes. Anything natural is much better on the eye. I like corrugated iron, too.

Thanks. Needed that.....Goodnight.

In Ireland, 25-30 years, with maintenance. Wear is very random. You could repair them forever but that is not cost effective if you have to pay someone.

Nearly knock-off time. Rain covers on then hit the road. Bit by bit it'll get done.

Them ones I got made. Put backs on them. Then your tools don't slip through. I have others I purchased. No backs on them. I'll take a photo. Getting dark now. Nearly knock off time. Still have tobput covers on the roof in case it rains...

That's 5mm galv bar fixed with screwfixings. The biddles hook over that. There is a horizontal bar approx every 20 inches. Buried 6 inches or so beneath the surface.

Called a biddle. Hooks on it. They catch onto the sway, the horizontal fixings. Handy yokes.

Sunday morning, stripping old thatch off a roof.

There's nothing else I'd rather be doing.....apart from anything else....
