If you like and use #zappoll, please zap the shit out of #[0] for supporting the development of nostr zap polls by paying out his pledged 0.1btc bounty! With his generosity, he's enabled #[1] and me to build zap polls into Amethyst. Now the race is on for other clients to add support for NIP69 π
I posted a 10M Sats bounty for this and #[2] added a further 1M - https://bountsr.org/lightning-polls/
Is there any official procedure for paying and closing these bounties? Keen to get the Sats sent today.
The additional 5M is for #[3] to implement on Nostrgram but I havenβt seen him on here in weeks - anyone know whatβs up with him?
Confirming receipt of 0.1btc from #[5] from his posted nostr polls bounty. Thank you so much for supporting nostr devs, it's because of you that zap polls are now a thing!
Still have to address the underlying problem with fake zaps, need to add proof of payment to zap events
Authors are no longer allowed to vote in their own polls
#[0] have you tried zap polls on Amethyst yet?
Zap polls #NIP update: there is a working implementation available and testable on at least Amethyst client.
There are concerns that zap poll voting NIP as is is not sybil attack resistant, and therefore poll results are not to be trusted.

This is a known issue with zaps themselves, not just polls, which essentially use standard zap protocol
Both cases are already defined in [NIP69](https://github.com/toadlyBroodle/nips/blob/master/69.md). It's up to clients to choose how they implement the protocol. For now, #[5] has chosen to disable min/max values, which when set equal only allow 1 vote per user.
Why not? md is the best!
Thanks for the zaps and positive feedback on polls #[2]. Followed, Stay safe and focused at the mines!
Glad you like, so cool so see everyone using it!
Getting paid to test, we are winning!
Might have to start work on this, bounty is starting to get tempting
Awesome! What's your day job if you don't mind my asking?
#[2] what's the timeline looking like for pulling polls into Amethyst?
