Ive been buying essentially knock off games on eBay for $20 a pop and getting all the OG 64 games. I played 64 as a kid a TON, so it’s a blast for me. My collection is currently the original Mario party, Mario kart, Zelda, and smash brothers.
I don’t know anything about the switch though. I do like the idea of portability but we don’t travel enough for it to matter.
Dude get an old 64. I bought one a couple weeks ago and it’s sooo much fun playing classic games. No internet connection, no manipulative reward mechanisms. Just good fun.
My wife just gave me a killer idea for a nostr app. Going to be a while before I have time to build it, but I’m very excited.
I have to relearn this lesson way too often. Just recently went through it again 🤦🏻♂️
I’ve grown very tired of working fiat jobs. Recently left a job I loved because things got very chaotic, got a new job and it’s not been going great.
I’m trying to think about how to pivot to focusing on more freedom tech. I’m an ok coder but working on improving. I want to explore building stuff on/for nostr, but I think I may also use my security knowledge to make contributions/find vulnerabilities.
Is anyone else here on nostr who does similar? I’m thinking of starting with apps that can be run by nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll, just because I think it’s such a cool project.

Had a conversation with another dad at my son’s school the other day. He started it with “I’m not a conspiracy nut but…” which then turned into a 45 minute conversation about how the CIA definitely killed JFK.
He mentioned he thinks it was about the military industrial complex, which is true, but I also dutifully informed him it was also regarding JFK trying to take power away from the Federal Reserve. Pointed him in the direction of a few books.
The only thing I wish would change is that people feel like they have to preface with “I’m not a conspiracy nut…”, but we’re getting closer. People are waking up.

Ah ok. I had to clarify because when I buy my son Lego sets, after they get put together the first time, the pieces all immediately get added to the heap, never to be reassembled into the official kit again 🤣
By together do you mean fully built up? Or like keep the legos together so you can rebuild the set later?
