Yes, exactly, that’s my point. It’s not going to get better, it will only get worse with self driving cars. You’ll have no go zones, curfews, and generally just less freedom as you give more control and data to the cars and the govt.
I wouldn’t count on either. I’d rather just continue driving myself and avoid the data being captured in the first place.

While I agree, this absolutely won’t happen. Car manufacturers are scraping TONS of data about drivers and leaving it completely unsecured. This has happened multiple times already. And this is just typical customer data they can’t secure, let alone the critical components that do the “self driving”.

I really think a #nostr powered electronics company could be super interesting. No extra accounts to sign into, no data tracking, could potentially sync with other media you own, etc.
But most of all, I just want high quality electronics that can’t be later hijacked like this Sonos issue. I can’t imagine spending that much money for them to render it useless with their shit software.

While I think this is absolutely true, I also think we’re living in an intermediary period. The current system is flailing and trying to find every avenue they can to prevent the new paradigm from taking over.
But, as long as people self custody their bitcoin, they can’t be stopped. And with things like ecash and lightning advancing regularly, the future is bright.
