I've seen them for sure haha and I totally agree with you. And even beyond algorithms, it's a statistical model. So, if we train it on how to build UI's with a ton of shit UI's, what do you think we'll get?
This article does good to explain something I've been thinking about a lot lately. It can essentially be summed as "Enshitification sucks", but I have a deep feeling that software isn't built to serve actual humans anymore.
It's another reason I'm not super bullish on using AI to build products. It will all converge on most common design patterns, which are becoming increasingly useless to humans. I want software that isn't meant to manipulate me and my behavior, but that serves me in a way that meaningfully improves my life.

I recently bought an N64, so I’m working my way through games I used to play on that. So right now, mostly Mario Kart and Smash Brothers lol
But also going to play Doom, Duke Nuke em, Zelda, etc.
And fun. Games nowadays are lame, imo. At least most of them.
