Yup haha it’s honestly hilarious to see nostr devs “vibe coding” when I know their clients are riddled with bugs, some completely unusable.

I've seen them for sure haha and I totally agree with you. And even beyond algorithms, it's a statistical model. So, if we train it on how to build UI's with a ton of shit UI's, what do you think we'll get?

Except $1400 in 2018 probably isn't even $700 of today's purchasing power 😅

This article does good to explain something I've been thinking about a lot lately. It can essentially be summed as "Enshitification sucks", but I have a deep feeling that software isn't built to serve actual humans anymore.

It's another reason I'm not super bullish on using AI to build products. It will all converge on most common design patterns, which are becoming increasingly useless to humans. I want software that isn't meant to manipulate me and my behavior, but that serves me in a way that meaningfully improves my life.

Dude, you’re not going hard enough. Let it manage your seed phrase.

So sick of AI worshipping…

I recently bought an N64, so I’m working my way through games I used to play on that. So right now, mostly Mario Kart and Smash Brothers lol

But also going to play Doom, Duke Nuke em, Zelda, etc.

I think speed in business is extremely overrated.

Absolutely. In his last podcast, Jack Mallers also said most of the countries we have a deficit with are buying US stocks, rather than investing back into their own countries to keep their currency weak vs the dollar. So everyone gets rich except for the middle class of Americans.

You’re totally right.

The stock market is pure speculation and gambling now. Fundamentals of the company being invested in are completely irrelevant. What a broken economy.

How come every new app or piece of tech has to be the new standard for how something is done?

Why can’t we just build something cool that’s only for a specific niche and just be happy with it?
