I don’t always agree with everything I say

The hero generation has a pretty precise definition though. It’s the people directly participating in the bloodshed that brings the new world.

Depending on the timing, some millennials will be part of it, some won’t. The question then is if the bloodshed is the American Civil War II in four years, or if WW III manages to start before that (and as a consequence prevents the Civil War).

If I send you one, will you send two back!?!? 😂😂

I think I got a hang on this BitCoin thing. When a dude named ODELL says “STACK SATS”, you buy some. When he says “LIVE FREE” you sell some.

🤣🤣🤣

I’m honestly surprised about people being surprised about this. It was telegraphed a week in advance that Canada+Mexico tariffs would take effect on 1st of Feb.

Though I do wonder what’s going to happen as the US markets open. As in, the market will drop, that’s for sure, but I wonder what will Bitcoin do. E.g. is it a continued sell-off “because markets are dropping”, or is Bitcoin sell-off done because “We were open over the weekend, and did our dropping already.”

Longer term, very bullish still. I view all of this as the coil being wound up for the eventual pop.

Sure. But then, he also caused the pump in the first place. I really don’t think we’d have breached 100k had Harris won.

In the big scheme of things though, none of this matters.

Well, it’s not much if you’re a central banker thinking about dabbling in it 🤣😆

How do you shake it off though? For normies Bitcoin is crypto. You get on Nostr, and you won’t survive a day without someone mentioning Bitcoin. I mean zaps. For normies that’s crypto.

There’s no way around it really. The only way forward is to lift the flag high and be proud about it. Decentralized permissionless comunication and/or money? Yes!

I recently did a proper test drive of the Cursor IDE, and came away convinced that this is definitely one of those huge tech shifts that you either ride with, or get left behind. Like “can you use computers” 30 years ago.

The main game changer where I see how it’s immediately useful is when the codebase you work with gets included in the context as a vectorized embedding. That’s when you can actually start getting really useful stuff out of it.

Cursor also has an agent mode now. Which I feel will grow on me eventually. An agent currently makes the most sense for me when it works in a tight environment, such as a particular project.

Though I can definitely see how a few years down the line your Mac is going to come with a built-in agent that will function as a full-blown personal assistant. At the very least.

Crazy.

My episode with nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytndv9kxjm3wdahxcqg5waehxw309ahx7um5wfekzarkvyhxuet5qqsw4v882mfjhq9u63j08kzyhqzqxqc8tgf740p4nxnk9jdv02u37ncdhu7e3 drops on YT in 15 minutes.

It might be taken down 15 minutes later because a certain word was used in a "Savage Lyn" NOSTR post that I read aloud.

Let's see what the algos decide!

There’s one thing that you might be slightly off on, and that’s regarding the reasons why institutional investors are buying MSTR convertibles.

I’ve spoken to some derivatives traders about this, and it seems that MSTR bond buyers most likely don’t care about BTC at all. Because they’re running a gamma profit strategy where they go long the convertible, and short MSTR. Landing them in a delta neutral position that prints money as long as MSTR stays volatile.

MSTR debt buyers not being bitcoiners, or having any interest in BTC itself likely has important implications when it comes to what the potential market size there is for MSTR debt.

And when the influencers come, I won’t need to see them, unless I choose so myself, as there’s no algorithm pushing them on me.

Why would it tank the price?

If an ETF share is destroyed now, BTC gets sold to redeem in USD. With in-kind redemption that BTC doesn’t need to be sold.

Am I missing something?

What are you going to do about it though?

Also, consider that many normies likely feel exactly the same when it comes to the US gov buying Bitcoin.

Purely hypothetically, if there’s someone with 1M USD in an EU country, would it be at all possible to be an investor at your fund?

He totally meant it. It’s pretty clearly visible in the video that he knows what he’s doing, and has this split second doubt of he should go through with it.

The most benign explanation is that he made a bet with someone that he’d throw a nazi salute in front of a crowd on Inauguration Day “for the lulz”
