If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

I finally forced myself to go over [Storej's white paper](https://www.storj.io/documents/storj-sustainability-whitepaper.pdf) to understand how they're achieving such a high level of availability using just consumer-grade hard drives scattered across people's living rooms. It all boils down to [Reed–Solomon erasure coding](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed%E2%80%93Solomon_error_correction). You distribute 80 chunks, but in reality you only need 29 to reconstruct the complete data. It would be amazing to have the same or similar error correction implemented into Blossom.

I could see scenarios where I would happily offer 30GB of data storage on my blossom server to have 10GB of distributed, reliable and resilient data across multiple blossom servers.

Would happily offer space as well

You’re worried about Bitcoin being 96k.

I’m worried that you don’t see 1 Bitcoin still equals 1 Bitcoin.

Surprising no one, Google is anti privacy.

I do this and tell my wife when I do because it annoys her to no end

Been playing around with Lume and Notedeck for a couple hours and while both are great for the basic Nostr experience, they are not quite ready to be my desktop client of choice.

Lume is still a little buggy and there’s times when I have to quit and relaunch because there’s no way to back out of a screen. Nice and big UI though makes it easy to look at content.

Notedeck is beautifully put together and blazing fast. I miss the Tweetdeck experience and this is super close. Unfortunately there’s still stuff that’s important sometimes like tagging users in threads, more refined column content choices (home, notifications and tags is just not fine grained enough), etc. it is VERY promising though so might be the de facto choice in six months to a year.

For now, I’ll stick to a mobile experience (Nostur!) and dabble with Coracle and NoStrudel in a desktop browser when I feel like going that route.

Go into Settings, then Reaction buttons. Tap on Button Configurator and using your emoji keyboard, type zap and choose the lightning bolt.

Not sure if there's an easier or better way or why it doesn't have a zap button by default.

Haven’t had coffee in months but feels like one of those days.
