I was just reminded this morning that you get the death penalty for bringing drugs into Singapore.
And caning for lesser offenses like littering. The country is very clean, and safe. I was told a parent could put their 6-year-old daughter in a taxi by herself and be assured that everything would be okay.
I've been prone to pity and mock those who are still wearing face masks, but perhaps they're onto something..
How can you say it would not be a crime to burn out the CCD sensors of these cameras? They define what is a crime; you would be destroying "public property". Or do you just mean that it wouldn't be immoral?
Interesting stuff. The architecture there looks amazing! And that channel looks cool. I even signed up for Rumble because of it, despite all of their KYC nonsense. I've been to Egypt, which is another place people question how they built those structures given the "known" technology of the time.

Reflecting on the article afterwards I also wondered if World War III can truly be said to have started if many people don't even realize we're at war? I always had the impression that World War I and II were conflicts that engaged most of the people in the countries involved (though maybe I'm wrong). I know that the people of Ukraine and in the Middle East certainly are more directly impacted by war right now, but can we truly be said to be in World War III if there is not hot war in the US or China or Europe right now? (I realize Russia is an exception)
