Right. People often say you should respect other people's beliefs, usually referring to their religion.

I say, no, I respect people and their right to believe as they do, but I don't have to respect WHAT they believe.

Well, if you lose your private key the account kind of disappears...

I don't recommend him for religious advice, though he does have some respect for his Catholic schooling and the cultural milieu and freedoms the West had enjoyed thanks to Christianity.

Doug Casey's Take is a good one for geopolitical and economic analysis. It's not for the faint of heart or overly sensitive, though...

#TIL Mexicans crossed into the United States at rates of about a million per year in the 1950s since they weren't subject to general immigration restrictions until 1965.

The U.S. government started β€œOperation Wetback" (a name that wouldn't fly today) in 1954 and claimed to have deported one million Mexicans.

"Among those deported, included many U.S. citizens of Mexican descent."

Anyone got any good Christian podcast recommendations?

Trying Lord of Spirits atm, it's often recommended. https://www.ancientfaith.com/podcasts/lordofspirits

I know it's not a podcast but also into Father Spyridon's YouTube

https://youtu.be/X5RHgjROP2c

These might be obvious choices.

What's the best way to reach #christian nostr? #asknostr #godstr , tagging nostr:npub1m4ny6hjqzepn4rxknuq94c2gpqzr29ufkkw7ttcxyak7v43n6vvsajc2jl

I'm a big fan of The Narrow Path. It's a daily, hour-long, Q&A radio call-in show, but gets rebroadcasted as a podcast, too.

States that voluntarily joined the United States but whose rights to secede were not respected.

An article I just read also voiced similar suspicions about the lack of an investigation:

> Note the lack of β€œRussia did it!” coming from the US. Note now the FBI came out immediately, with no investigation, and said this was an accident, not an act of war, which it most likely was.

>

> The question then is, β€œwho committed the act?” We will never find out the truth to this but our prime suspect has to be the one who has the motive to get the US to go β€œon tilt” and move into position to defend Ukraine openly.
