They already tried that. And lost.

Israel also justifies it's treatment of the Palestinians based on the U.S. government's past treatment of the Native Americans, exterminating them, and pushing them onto reservations.

Yep, it's time to get away from "might makes right," or "power flows from the barrel of a gun," which is what majority rule and statism are. As a people we must no longer tolerate aggression or fraud. Only governance that is voluntarily chosen should be accepted. If you didn't choose to pay that tax/fee, it cannot be imposed on you (unless in consequence of some aggression you committed and are found guilty of). If you didn't vote for that candidate to be your ruler, then they don't get to rule you.

Are you referring to Primal? And if so, does it/can it cover the whole network? Can't someone have their own private relay or npub that only they can see?

Lovely.

Is there an artist behind all this, or is it just blind, random chance somehow producing exquisite designs? πŸ€”

And if "Nature" is just generating all this beauty randomly and spontaneously, can it even appreciate what it has produced? Wouldn't that require consciousness? And could Nature's productions (i.e., humans) have the consciousness and ability to appreciate beauty while that which produced such beauty and humans and even consciousness lacks it?

This is my firecracker article of the week.

You've probably been told there's no sex in heaven. Are you kidding me? Why in heaven's name would God eliminate the highest form of human intimacy that he has ever designed?πŸ€”

Don't forget to comment below, *after* you've read the article. You might also enjoy the rest of the series.πŸ˜„

Hi Duncan, I'm currently reading *The Unseen Realm* by Michael Heiser and just read this which has some bearing on this discussion (p. 261):

> The text [of Matthew 22:23–33] does not say angels *cannot* have sexual intercourse; it says they *don’t*. The reason ought to be obvious. The context for the statement is the resurrection, which refers either broadly to the afterlife or, more precisely, to the final, renewed global Eden. The point is clear in either option. In the spiritual world, the realm of divine beings, there is no need for procreation. Procreation is part of the embodied world and is necessary to maintain the physical population. In like manner, life in the perfected Edenic world also does not require maintaining the human species by having childrenβ€”*everyone has an immortal resurrection body.* Consequently, there is no need for sex in the resurrection, just as there is no need for it in the nonhuman spiritual realm.

This was the Founder's experience with elections and still they thought voting was a good idea:

> Before he was the first President of the United States, George Washington was a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses from 1758 until 1775. He actually lost his first election, however, and β€œattributed his defeat to his failure to provide enough alcohol for the voters,” according author Daniel Okrent. At the time, it was common for candidates to woo voters by plying them with food and liquor. Washington avoided the same mistake during his second run, spending nearly the entire campaign budget on 28 gallons of rum, 50 gallons of rum punch, 34 gallons of wine, 46 gallons of beer, and two gallons of cider royal served to 391 voters β€” nearly a half-gallon per voter. (He also spent 3 pounds on dinner for friends, which very likely also included booze.) His campaign even rolled barrels of liquor to polling places on Election Day, a custom in Virginia at the time. The practice of winning over voters with booze was widespread despite being technically illegal, and was known as β€œswilling the planters with bumbo.”

Do we allow it, or do they allow it? Can "we" really do anything about it?

I've heard the theory that the Deep State may actually want Trump to get into office so that they can accomplish their plan of disarming Americans. This is based on the idea that a Republican president can get away with things a Democrat never could because the Republican base won't push back against a president of their own party (like COVID lockdowns under Trump, or tripling the national debt under Reagan).
